Why? Simply because heavy haulage has come of age with us. In the very beginning, converted army vehicles were used; today, we are able to move up to 1,200 t using our 40 axles of Self-Propelled Modular Transporter.
Our experienced staff has all the skills needed to carry out transports under the most difficult conditions. They also develop new equipment in cooperation with vehicle manufacturers so as to meet the ever-growing requirements in the heavy industry. Due to regular training of the team, we constantly increase our expertise.
Baumann Heavy Haulage has a large variety of heavy-duty prime movers and tractors with up to 600 hp at its disposal. In combination with our more than 100 Goldhofer axle lines, our drop deck vehicles with a payload of up to 250 tonnes, or the special trailers for railed vehicles, we are able to transport nearly any load by road. Our 540 t Greiner vessel bridge is unique in Europe.

Our mobile bridge system is used as a superstructure over bridge constructions that are unable to take heavy loads. It ensures utmost flexibility and safety on critical routes. Our comprehensive road and bridge database provides you with the best route.
